if all the lines on the biss menu are full how do you enter new keys.

you can over write a code on to a line as long as the line that you what to overwrite is not linked to a channel that you wish to keep.
it is always best to keep a list of which line is against which channel you have it against.

hi thanks for your reply dont fully understand, must be my age lol how do i know what channel it is linked too, just trying to get uk football. so you can over write a code if i know its not linked to another i think thanks anyway

To find which line your channel is linked too.
ie lets use a channel which uses a BISS code for use to clear.
NBA TV EUROPE 10e 11.387V, go to that channel on the said satellite, when the channel clears, with the remote Press 8280, this will bring up the BISS CODE LINES, on the TM5402H/D it will come up against the line which code is clearing the said channel in Qrange. When the code/ key changes for the said channel you can put the NEW KEYS over the OLD KEYS, then press EXIT, it will ask to SAVE, (say YES to this) EXIT, the feed should clear again.
Hope this helps

Hi gray60, Tiernan, owen et al,

You can instantly find all TM Softcam/BISS Keys if you use TechnomateMaker 1.5

Simply download the program from the link within the following thread and read/follow the operational guide I wrote...

https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/index.php?threads/288717/

I hope this helps...

Best Wishes,
Zorch

sorry if in wrong place or hi-jacking.
hi is there an easier way to enter biss keys other than manually through remote, or is it wishful thinking by me to think you can some how upload it through a file or something like this, just don't want to be doing it for 40 lines. only ask because a friend keeps asking.

If you are referring to one of the technomate receivers then i am sorry but yes you have to enter them manually via the remote, you do realise of course that you do not have to enter the whole 32 digit key just enter the first 16 as they are repeated again. So after entering 16 just press all '00's for the following 16 and save.

It may be tedious entering them via remote but surely the benefits reaped afterwards more than make up for it.

Regards

thanks for reply. yes it's a technomate. was looking for a quick way to update friends box, like you do with cndf and key files, and i agree it's worth it in the long term. cheers.
