JSC sports channels on hotbird with tm5402

Hi guys!
I am not able to get the Al Jazeera sports channels on my TM5402 running patch 117.
The frequency is 11296 - 27500 - H and it seems like I can't receive it when I could with same dish on tm5400 super.
Can someone advise?

Thanks for your help Manic. I have deleted the TPs with no good quality/feed and tried your frequency and the one I mentioned with no changes. It still give me a red bar on level and quality.
PS I am on advance search menu as well.

I have deleted all TPs with bad frequency on Hotbird. I used to have patch 112 on my tm5402 and had similar problems so today I decided to go with patch 117 to see if there were some improvements.
It looks like I cannot received some transponders with this model. Why? I don't know. Most of the channels open fine (polsat, nova, bis, cyfra) but I struggle with orange france and JSC sport channels.
I even did a blind search with 1ghz progressive scan and I have tried PID searches too as well as adding new TPs manually.
 
make sure dish is not misaligned m8

on patch 117 JSC sports 1-10 on 13e work fine m8

Hi i have a tm5402 i get the JSC sports channels on hotbird only prob is they are scrambled i have applied latest patch from download center (Phantompatch-TM5402HDCI_ALL_118p_16-03-2012) but nothing happens what could i be doing wrong?
 
JSC are encrypted channels and the patch will not open them, time for you to google cccam.
 
thanks. As I said I have cccam but I cannot get the transponder. So even if I can open the package I still need to receive the channels first. Funny enough I could receive them with the tm5400 super. Which was why it prompted my original question. I will see if there are any changes when I receive the DM600 as I sold the TM5400 super some time ago.
If I can receive the channels I will let you know and If I don't I will make sure that the installer comes to realign/check the dish/lnb.

Advanced Search menu...
Enter 11.296 H

Then try altering the Symbol rate downwards... 27499 - 27498 - 27497 etc etc... and see if you can regain the signal that way... or alternatively try altering the frequency very slightly either way to... 11.295 - 11.297 etc etc... sometimes tuners will pick up little idiosyncrasies like this...

I get a good signal from tp 11305 H sr 27500 Level 97% Quality 92%, 1mtr dish 54.1N 0.2W.
 
Thanks chaps. I have tried all combinations from 11290 to 11316 H and from 27496 to 27504 with no success.
 
I hate to ask but are you sure your on Hotbird? The channels are definitely there please try transponder 11305 H sr27500 I have JSC on my screen right now.It maybe your dish is very slightly "off" position so select that transponder and give us your level and quality readings.
 
Yes I am as can can receive all bis tv, orange poland, sky italia, nova, polsat. But for some reasons I do not get JSC.
And I cannot receive TV5 FSB and europe, and all french orange channels on hotbird: frequency 11096H (with PID search and/or advance search) as well. I always get a red signal. However I used to receive them with my TM5400 super...which I sold! ;(
I am still waiting for the DM600 and then I will see if it come from the TM or if I need to contact the council so the dish can be realigned.
Nevertheless many thanks for your suggestions.
 
Any chance you could select tp 11305 H sr 27500 and give the L and Q readings, this might well point the finger at just what the problem is. Also you location and dish size might help but Hotbird is received with good levels in the UK.
I can assure you the signal from this tp comes in strong.
 
My TM6900HD Super - using blind scan off latest patch 744P - scans JSC Sports 1-10 all in at 11293H S/R 27498 getting 95% sig level & 84% sig qual whilst in scan section of Installation menu, so edited to 11305 H 27500 S/R and when actually on channel (say JSC Sport 2) I get green signal at 86% so several different readings! - all with 1 metre dish in North Lincs!:drink:
 
Well if he comes back with the requested information I'm sure we will get his problem sorted out.
