JSC sports channels on hotbird with tm5402

Thanks for your support guys. I have uploaded pics to respond to all your questions.
I am based in London near city of london/shoreditch/old street. The dish seems to be either a 55cm 0r 63 cm (so not sure as system has been installed via council as part of the digital change)

I hope that I haven't forgotten anything. I know that hotbird is very easy to receive from the UK and I did not have this problem before. Only since I got the TM5402.

You say installed by council as part of the switchover, they would only have aligned it to Astra2 for the Freesat channels. Did you realign it to Hotbird?

That looks to be the case but if he cant receive tp 11296 H sr27500 or 11305 H sr27500 then he has not set the dish accurately. I get JSC from both tp's with very good L and Q readings. His red L and Q bars indicate no received signal, I have known dish installations to give only horizontal or vertical transponders and in all cases a very slight realignment brought in both.

It might be an idea for this member to check if he is receiving any horizontal transponders.

Here we are. You are absolutely right Jimi. I do not get any horizontal transponders. As I am not interested in all channels on horizontal transponders it never crossed my mind. I guess I will need the dish to be re-aligned properly. At last I know where the problem lies. Must has been the wind?
Thank you everyone for your help as I think it has been resolved.

Ok here we go, your dish is only very slightly off position so go into the menu and select "advanced search" select tp 11296 H sr 27500. Only just slacken the bolts that hold the dish and move it VERY slightly east and west whilst someone watches the L and Q bars do it very slowly and when they yell out that they have changed colour tighten the bolts. Check the L and Q readings and try to peak them with very fine dish movements. Once peaked tighten the bolts fully, then scan the transponder.

Another possibility is a faulty LNB but try the dish first.
