The TM5402HD is able to stream youtube videos from the internet, XXX content from the internet, play Divx, avi, mkv, etv from attached USB devices and stream video media from a computer connected to the same LAN network.

While play, stop and pause on the remote work fine, the forward and rewind buttons do not, but, there is a way around this.

For internet streaming, especially for youtube, you need some form of attached USB storage to buffer the video content onto. For the XXX streaming, the receiver holds about a 15 second buffer.

To 'shuttle' forwards and backwards through the video file, first press the play button, so the bar shows on the bottom of the screen, now press and hold either Vol+ or Vol- on the directional pad in the middle of the remote, and the file progress indicator will move. If streaming from the internet, and enough video has buffered, once you let go of either the < or > button, your viewing will jump to the point shown on the timeline.

The longer you hold the button for, the faster the timeline progresses. For the first 5 seconds, it seems to progress at around 2x, the next 5 seconds are approx 4x, then next 5 seconds approx 8x, then it flies through, untill you release the button.

Technomate software online:)

Well done mate, seems Technomate like this too from what they said to you?
All I want now is to be able to afford to change my TM6900HD Super (minus USB's) for a TM5402HD!!
