Does anyone know if the 736p patched TM6900 HD Super Plus passes EMMs to Oscam as my B***B card in an Omnikey 3121 cardreader is clearing channels fine but not updating entitlements. I'm logging EMMs but seeing none. I've posted this elsewhere and had absolutely no response. There must be someone on these forums that can advise me on this.

If the TM is a lost cause I'd like to know the lowest cost means of getting this to work. I'm happy with the TM6900 so was thinking along the lines of a Skystar PCI card in the PC and ProgDVB (or equivalent) using Oscam emu as I'm pretty sure that the Oscam + Omnikey combination is working okay.

Can anyone please advise on any of this.

the TM EMU is either cccam or newcamd client only, as far as i know, it only receives and cannot pass EMMs back to the server, but i could be wrong

have you enabled AU to yes within your oscam config to see if it passes EMMs back

Yes, I've spent ages reading threads on Oscam site regarding content of oscam.conf, oscam.server and oscam.user config files. I've tried both newcamd and cccam protocols and logging everything. All entitled channels on my Freesat card are clearing with ECM every 8 seconds but not a single EMM. I left a message for PhantOm who seems to be doing the TM patch development now but had no response, presuming that he of all people will know.

I'm pretty sure it is the TM not passing EMMs but before I go out spending more money I'd just like to try and get some confirmation. I'm very happy with the TM6900 as it suits my needs. All I want to do is have Sat TV in two or three rooms. I've set up an old Toshiba Portege PIII notebook as a linux server with an Omnikey 3121 reader which is all working fine. I'd prefer a setup where I don't have to have my main PC powered up as I had been thinking about a Skystar card but now thinking along the lines of a Spiderbox HD9000 to replace the TM6900 in my front room on the main TV and move the TM6900 into the second room. I have a B***B sub card but using the Freesat card which I normally use in my caravan until I get everything working just in case I write it off.

If I understand it correctly, the Spiderbox can work as a server and client so I presume that means that I don't need Oscam and the Omnikey reader but could use it which is probably what I'd prefer to do. However, I need to find out if the Spiderbox AUs the card, either in the box CI slot or via Oscam + Omnikey, or else I'm really going to be no further forward.

@digidude, I really appreciate the help as I've had a really frustrating few weeks as I've never used linux before so have made real headway to get to this point. Can you advise the way forward on this - any way you can contact PhantOm for example.

Regards
