Hello,

I have recently recieved a USB-RS232 cable but when I plugged it in Vista did not recognise it? I`ve read around and tried several drivers but still nothing can anyone help?
Thanks

That didn`t work, i looked in device manager/ hardware

under universal serial controllers the usb is marked as unkown and when i try to update it it can`t find the right driver?

Did it not come with a driver disk ? - Mine came with a very small CD, which had the appropriate driver on it. Just popped it in the laptop, and it installed the drivers into Win XP without any problem.

no I oredered it from fleebay, and came alone with nothing, just and adaptor from 9pin male to comport
