Since 722 and also with 725 my TM6900 Super is finding it hard to position. Occasionally overshoots, mostly stops short. And it can't find some of the weaker sats at all. It's a TM2600 motor and all has been fine til now.

Could be a coincidence, I'll get the ladders out over the weekend to see if there's something wrong up there, but I wondered if anyone else had found this ...

Maybe i'm talking crap but i wouldn't have thought the patch could have any effect on the box driving the motor other than messing up your usals settings.
double check you lat/lon and maybe then it could be the dish moved slightly with the weather.
report back with the outcome please.
thanks

Having been up the ladder quite a few times today it looks like I have two things going on at the same time.

First - the programmed positions had all mostly changed. They'd moved by anything between 6 and 12 degrees east of where they should be, according to the pointer on the motor itself. I've reprogrammed them all for now. Maybe a coincidence that something happened about the time of the patch?

Second - I've got about 2 degrees play between the outer motor spindle and the motor itself. The allen bolt that holds the outer spindle to the stub is tight. Guess I need to take it to pieces to see what's happening, unless someone can tell me that's normal? Comments gratefully received.

Hi M8

I had the same sort of problem and found that my rig had moved. Try
sending the motor back to "0" using usals, then send it to either 13e or
19e on bbc world. If you get no picture, loosen the bolts on the motor
and move it by hand and if you then get a piccy, tighten the bolts back
down. Then send the dish to a satellite you already had set up before
you had problems. If it lands o\k and you get a picture, this tells you
your rig was out of line, but now its o\k. You may need to do a little bit
of tweaking later on.
