I'm somewhat new to forums and so I do apologise if I'm posting this incorrectly. I have just put the Technomate TM-Twin 4k
into the search box and it bought up the details of the same and I have to presume it's yours. I have just joined the forum and
asked members if they can advise on a receiver to purchase and the Technomate Tm looks like it will meet my requirements.
I would be interested to here your views. Many thanks.

Are you Joking the TM is dead buy a Octagon SF8008

Hi Ferret thanks for response, have only recently cancelled my sky q and still having the dish decided to delve into the
world of satellite receivers. At the moment I'm still learning the different terms and hoping to seek advice from the more
experienced forum members like yourself. One of the first receivers to catch my eye was the SF8008 but I keep reading
unfavourable reports about Technomate. At the moment I'm looking at reviews on VU+ receivers and would be
grateful if there's any advice you're able to offer on these.

If you intend to use the SkyQ dish for alternative receiver you will have to change the Lnb.

VU are good boxes but they have now stopped producing E2 sat boxes to concentrate on Commercial sat receivers, id also take a look at the Gigablue UE, none of these open UK tv though. The viark and Qivart boxes do though/
