TM600 Hard Drive

Hi all.
I put a hard drive in my TM600, but I cant remember how to get it working, Do I need to format it, or can i do this in the box?

Not sure if it's the same on TM recievers, but on other E1 boxes you need to initialize the hard drive from the menu options under something like system, settings, hard disk. This option formats the drive for you.
Sometimes if the drive is not recognised by the box you need to manually format the drive in a PC first

I did this. Menu and went to (6) Setup.
In there I went to 3 System Settings
In there I went to 4 USB Setup
In there I went to 2 Fromat USB
In there I went to 3 INSIDE JMicron - 152.67 GB
I then pressed Red to format and green to check it twice.
This then formatted the drive.
I then set it to use that drive for PVR

Hiya swanny ~ I thought you were an openbox man ~ Is that you back to SD TV on the TM600 then or are you still using th S9 ?
I found the HDD made my TM ran quite hot so I took it out again.

I still use the tm to send Emms to my card mate.

How easy is it to install a hard drive in the TM 600? Is it same as putting it in a PC?

There is no IDE/sata connector on the motherboard. There is a USB port to connect a usb to sata/ide adapter as well as a molex power connector. The chassis is for a 3.5 drive.
