BMW - E36 Coupe / Saloon Sunroof Tilt Mechanism Repair
A common problem with the E36 is the sunroof. There are two Track control arms that force the roof to tilt. These are connected to plastic runners that frequently snap resulting in a roof that won't tilt. Here we will describe how to remove the roof and repair the mechanism. It will cost approx £26.50 to repair. You will only need a few tools, around two hours and a bit of patience!
