Mrs and daughter in bits and I'm not far behind.

Ffs, if you want a horse bloody learn something. You do NOT put them in with cattle. You do NOT stroll past the cattle with a mare in foal. You do NOT wander around with a mare in foal out of control.

Cattle spook horses, especially youngsters. It was just three years old.

Daughter did her best. At least it was quick. Mrs and daughter had to watch while a three year old effectively hung itself.

Horses are NOT bloody toys.

Must have been a shocking thing to witness. I hope they can get over it soon m8!

Sorry to hear that, must have been a terrible experience for all concerned. I hope that time will help to make the memory less painful.
