Bruce Forsythe has been as funny as a shattered knee cap for as long as I can remember !

Still, that program gets my arse of the sofa faster than anything else.:Biggrin2:

But I'd still Sh*g Suzanna Reid bid time so who gives a fook about him lol

I just had to add rep for that lol

Lighten up @chadda, I KNOW Grandad looks stupid on the dance floor but give the seniors a break huh? He's doing okay and a whole lot better than most oldies who get shunted off by their family to some dark, forgotten place ;)

Is anyone else surprised he hasn't been dragged in to this jimmy Seville investigation.
Would have had him in my top 10

I was wondering last year, how on earth is Bruce Forsyth still alive?

When i was growing up in the 80's, he was ancient then.. i swear he was 70 going on 80 by this time?? fast forward 20 years and hes still 80?

Something wrong here.. I think he lied about his date of birth when he joined dw?? i think the admins should look into it and maybe look at giving him an infraction for the lies??

Damn you Brucey

Hopefully a nice cold winter should finish him off. He's 2nd on my P.C.D.L. (Predicted Christmas Death List) after Prince Philip, and just in front of Nelson Mandela :)

I like Bruce and if I had half his talent I'd feel lucky.

Which half would you like ?

The "Nice to see you"..............or..............the "To see you nice".:err:

Sorry if that's out of date, I've only watched him for a few seconds at a time since TV remote controls were available.:)

I took my Dad to see him once in a solo show some years ago. The man was brilliant: singing, piano playing, dancing, storytelling. He really had the audience in the palm of his hand.

It was nice to see him.

He is (or was) "multi-talented", the modern term, we can agree on that. An older term would be "jack of all trades", like the old club comperes.

Would you pay to see him use just one of these talents? I doubt it, he's not that good, but I suppose it's a matter of taste.

On reflection, I don't actually dislike him, it's more the kind of mindless pap that he usually presents. I just use him as an early warning to find the remote control.
In fairness, I have the same reaction to Graham Norton, Joules Holland, and a few others in the "micro-talented" category as well.

As for Bruce, if he still needs the money, maybe it's time for "funeral insurance" adverts, like Parkinson (a big disappointment).:)

Jools Holland, founder member of Squeeze, is relegated to 'presenter' now?

Oh dear :(

I always thought he had limited energy :rimshot:.

Last time I saw his show, he was extolling the virtues of the Sex Pistols, imo the biggest pile of sh*it of all time, discounting rappers.

The live performance surprised me, I didn't think they could get worse, but they have !:Biggrin2:

He's not much good at that either. I vaguely remember the BBC banned him for something way back.

Surprisingly, lack of talent was not the official reason.;)

You can't lure me into an infractywotsit that easy - he got suspended for a few weeks for using a rude word beginning with 'f' :)

Well, it was worth a try !:Biggrin2: I can't think of any other reason why such overwhelming talent would be ignored for so long.

Casual usage makes it seem trivial now . All I can manage is an incoherent howl if I drop something heavy on my foot.

Most of my store of expletives have all been devalued. Maybe I need to invent new ones and keep them secret, but what would be the point ?:)
