Fecking Bad Drivers

I was parked on the inside lane with my left indicator on waiting to turn left as soon as the traffic lights changed to green. Mr smart arse in the right hand lane jumps straight in my path and turns left before me from the completely wrong lane once the lights changed to green. Now I have had this done to me twice now by different drivers. Is this the new insurance scam that people are doing? or is it just very poor impatient drivers that want to get from A to B in record time. I am fooking sick of these coonts now. Have any of you guy's had this done to you yet?. :Angryfire

Mate I have to drive around London weekly and have crap like this happen to me constantly.

The thing is mate, they go flat out once they have passed you and yet I still catch them up at the lights. It really is very dangerous practice rawsy, and one of these days I will end up ramming the side of them. Who exactly would be at fault then?. :(

get one of those dash cameras off ebay £20 or less,then you got evidence.its what i use in me truck

That sounds like a great idea gez mate, this kamikaze driving is happening a lot to me just recently. I am beginning to think that I am a marked man. :(

I though of one these particulary when two friends had similar freeky accidents within few days, but then, how often do we get involve in traffic accident to instal one of these.
 
Just impatient, loopy b*ggers M8. I've even been treated to a blast of the horn in the same position (waiting to turn left at the lights). Apparently it's okay to turn left against a red light if there's nothing coming - well, that's okay in the US (although they would be turning right) but I don't remember the law changing here?
 
Thanks to my mate @gez he has put me on the right track, and told me which Cam to get. Thank you sir. Now for my revenge I will film every dodgy fooker on the road and report them if need be.

Put all the bad ones up on You Tube !!! That would serve the fecker right !

If you are lucky it may only be the occassional time during your driving life, but it won't half hit your pocket on insurance renewal if you can't prove it wasn't your fault.
So £20 against loss of no claims bonus and sky high insurance costs, it's a no brainer really.

if anyone does take the plunge and gets a dashboard camera then can they post up make/model/cost and quality,(not in this thread) i suspect before long the insurance companies will insist we all have them to keep our ncb, ie proof of people cutting in and pulling out of junctions etc.

some of the russian videos on youtube from dashboard cams are quite horrific if you not seen go and have a look.

i bet it wont before long before dashcams or a varient of a required by insurance companies...or even by law. next step gps to track speed and auto limit you to the area you in currently drivings speed limit.

i dont think i will make a good prime minister hehe

I think your idea would be good if they could make it work?. it would certainly stop the idiots driving at say 40 mph in a 30 mph zone. But would it work? Camerons idea is to get everyone on pedal bikes.
 
The technology exists to implement it,but imagine the hacking and trying to enforce such things, would have to make the punishments for circumventing it massive.

easier option would be to just have it track speed and then if you have an accident and it shows you were speed you are immediately at fault, or...rather than limit the cars speed in zones it notifies a central server when you are speeding and auto issues a fine lol.
