missed delivery saturday so gets card saying pick up today from depot, goes down no parcel told maybe tomorrow, WTF!!! I ask where is it, she replies still in the system :silly:. its already attempted delivery and card left so postie should've took it to where he's put on the card. I work nights and by the time i get up the depot is closed so now gotta sort something out to pick it up cos they cant do their job right.

maybe they should get the service they offer right before striking again:feck:

there's a grey box half way down my street, any parcels they can't deliver go in there so they don't have to lug it all around. later, randomly, a postie goes and empties it, stands on it and put it in his van. 2 days later it arrives back at the collection office that closes for lunch - when most people try nip out to collect any missed parcels.

i once saw the random postie empting it, i stopped as i'd missed a bit of vinyl being delivered (a 12" record in brown cardboard stands out) and i asked if i could take it from him. i may as well have been asking for 1 of his kidneys even with 1) proof of my address 2) he knew me already from the other 450 12" records i'd had delivered to the same address. 2 days later i got it.

I'm still waiting for items I ordered from Amazon around christmas time, and they were supposed to come with standard shipping, not even the free super saver thing. Remember the good old days of the post strike, where post would be delivered on time?

pr!cks still cant tell me where it is, how stupid do they think people are? same old crap telling me its still in the system. if the postie didnt book it back in he's probably walking round in a nice £70 jumper and i have to wait 15 days to make a claim.

:Kickassro

i ordered 3 things form various places, standard delivery, first two items where ordered around the 30th,last one was a few days ago and that has arrived,no sign if the others

Dont need to tell me what idiots the RM are. Last year Birthday card sent to my nephew ( sealed ) with a £20 note inside, never made it, box sent from london to same nephew arrived with the box opened and nothing inside. Royal Mail excuse, nothing to do with us, compensation claim refused.

I walked past one of them grey boxes near to where I used to live and it had a about 5 "signed for" and "special delivery" parcels stacked on top of it, including one addressed to me. The postman must have emptied it and forgot to take them with him. I ended up going round and posting them, but it makes me wonder how often stuff like that happens.

At least we have a postal service that can actually delivery sometimes. If you live in South Africa, the chances of getting any mail delivered are minimal.
