Been looking forward to seeing avatar 3d .
Contacted my mate (on rigs till mon) if he fancied going .
2 Adults and 3 kids (premier) £52 .
£52 fookin quid to see a film and they wonder why piracy is rife.
I can sya i dont think i will ever be back to the cinema ,they charged me £3.73 for booking tickets which reduces the queue saving employing staff then they charge you £20 quid for a juice and a dog ,twats
I know i could have got slightly cheaper going in no-prem seats but even that is mega dear for a family and i couldnt book seats where i wanted on standard seating meaning we would have been all sitting seperate.

Wow!

Our local Showcase would have charged you £27.75 for the tickets then £3 booking fee, much cheaper than your Odeon deal.

Although i quite fancy Avatar, I'm not looking forward to sitting in the cinema for nearly 3 hours.

thats whats putting me off the price
lucky for me i got a student card but still 7.95 is a bit steep
i remember i used to go every week and that cost me 30p
and you saw 2 movies
oh those days are well gone :(

Cinema prices are ridiculous these days, when i was a kid it was good cheap entertainment. now if u want to take the family it's a 50 quid trip. not cheap.

the price of the ticket goes to the film company/distributor and the money made from the food/drink goes to the cinema.

total rip these days
