Genuine E.U. Licences with NO test

Im sure it can be done

Dont know about this online method but a bloke I know is in the process of his mate in malacca getting him a lisence for fifty nicker, I think he just needs to get it transfered over within a year.

Still dosent confirm the validity of this online malarky though

I know this thread is pretty old, but maybe 5 years later, we have more options. Anyone got updates on getting hold of a EU driving licence without sitting a test? I would really appreciate your help on this matter.

The DVLA know full well this is happening - you may (or may not), remember the fuss over Hong Kong licenses only a year ago. The DVLA has exchanged more HK for UK licenses than there are actual DRIVERS in Hong Kong!!!

DVLA only cracked down on THAT when it was exposed by the newspapers, and even then - because they keep no records, and destroy the old license - they have NO WAY of knowing if ANY of the license swaps carried out were genuine, and NO WAY of identifying any of the illegal drivers on the UK roads.

IT IS A FARCE!!!

Any idea how to get a Hong Kong one?
 
No worries, take your test in the UK, pass and emigrate to Hongkong, live there for 10 years and apply for a UK licence. Your application needs to be endorsed by two UK judges and three DW VIP members...

...simples ;)
 
Although NOTHING has been done at the UK end, in Hong Kong the Police arrested many of the people involved in the illegal license scam.

And of course, being part of China, the DEATH PENALTY could always be invoked.

IMO the DVLA (like social services), are not "Fit for Purpose" and should be shut down (and everyone above the "shop floor" level involved sacked), and a new agency set up to administer everything correctly.

Which nuance do you find "obtuse"?? I have read read my last post several times and cannot see any obvious areas of confusion.

Or did you think my previous post was an answer to yours?? No It was aimed at the Newbie asking where to get a HK license.

Now I am totally confused - which bit do you think is a wind up?? Me or the newbie? Yes the Newbie is probably a wind-up, but with some of the dumb things they post anyway - who can be sure!!?? : shocked2
