can anyone help......? psp wont connect

got myself a belkin wireless router today and got all excited about getting my psp online, i set it all up, disabled all the firewalls on my pc and got my router up and running, for some reason i cannot get my psp to connect to my router although it will recognise it and sometimes even tells me i have a 90% connection, i have tried setting up different connections but i get the same 2 messages everytime

message 1 is
a connection error has occured the access point was not detected

or message 2 is
a connection error has occured a connection to the access point could not be established check the security settings for the network and try again

i have checked the security settings found within my psp and they seem ok, the very first time i tried i got bbc.co.uk to come up for a split second but it went off and since then i havn't been able to get anything

any help would be great, as i have checked through the book and i can't find anything that will help

got it to work man its fast it was some thing in my home that interfered with the psp and my router signal...
