I'm trying to read the stickies but it says I don't have permission to access them. As I just acquired an old PSP (probably 3-5 years old) and it's on fw 3.72 and would like to install cfw to it. Any help or directions would be appreciated!

Thanks mate, just having a read. But also checked else where and I established that my PSP model is the 2000 one and being on 3.72 it states it's moddable via softmod. Wouldn't be ideal to perform the mod rather than updating to latest ofw as it states I would need a pandora battery to downgrade the fw?

no there is a permanant cfw for 6.60 version 2000 thats the one iver just done check out this guide

Install Custom Firmware 6.60 PRO B10 PSP 1000, 2000

Posted previous reply before completing typing, mods or admins can delete the previous message. I updated the original fw to the latest 6.60 then installed the 6.60 Pro B10 cfw which seems to have perm installed. I was able to run iso games but for some reason the START and Home functions don't work at all. Not sure if this is an issue with the cfw install or maybe just faulty buttons!

As this was given to me free I have no idea of it's history but will look into checking the buttons or getting another PSP to test on it.
