hi all
as stated i am a total newbie with this handheld device. i have obtained a psp which was on cfw 5.50 gen full. it was not running some of the newer games so installed prometheus to the 4 gig memory card and now running fine. however with newer and more complicated games the sizes of these have increased and can only get like 4/5 games on 4 gig card
what i would like to know is if i was to swap my 4 gig card for maybes a 16 or 32 gig card am i right in thinking all i have to do is copy the contents from the 4 gig card onto the 16 or 32 gig card?

thanks

just buy new card then format it in psp
it will make the folders for you.
then put any games u have in the ISO folder.

Never try to format a memory card for the PSP on your PC, it won't format it correctly and will give read errors or just not be recognized correctly by the PSP

As suggested, the easiest and guaranteed way is to let the PSP do it for you and then you know its been formatted correctly

Format your new card in psp and then copy all the contents of old card into the newer memory card. This way you will have all the games saves other stuff copied onto your newer one. I remember when I installed a new card for my nephew he started crying "wheres all my songs, movies & saves gone I have to play from start again" :)

Correction format the card in the computer then unplug the psp and format the card in through the settings

hmm I think that´s not necessary, you only have to format the new memory on the psp... and then copy the files.
