Disc Reading Errors

Got a PS4 about 6 weeks ago and have only used it handful of times. Games that require heavy disc access such as Shadow of Mordor is jerky to the point of unplayable on my console, fine on my son's. I borrowed his CoD:AW today and when trying to access multiplayer it constantly spits the disc out. Both discs are perfect.

Are there known issues with the PS4 or am I just unlucky.

Might be worth buying a disc cleaner.
