So one finally popped up on New Zealands ebay equivalent TradeMe.co.nz!
$100 NZD - 50quid!

The guy had downgraded and was selling due to not needing it, which is exactly what I will do.

Should get it this week!
Potential for a Thursday night install....

Order an E3 card reader/ downloader as well from ModChipsAustraila.

I am going to set a side a Saturday morning for the work, so we are potentially looking at a week on Saturday. I'll attempt to take pictures etc.

That place is called Cathedral Cove. A huge hole carved over time by the sea, with a beach either side of it.
It is about 2-3 hours away from me. I live in Auckland CBD, closest beaches are Mission Bay, Kohi and St Heliers.

E3 Flasher received yesterday. Just the one box which includes the actual E3 board, NOR chip clip and the TM board. No eSata station but I am under the impression I don't actually need one? I could do with some clarification on that one. From what I gather and assume, the PS3 boots far enough for the E3 flasher to do its work without a HD attached. The PS3 will just display HD not found? Again confirmation.

So waiting on the E3 card reader from Aus, but I am away this weekend so will prob miss the courier delivery.

Other than that we are all set for the install and downgrade.

I have been away last weekend and missed a courier delivery. I assume its my E3 flasher from Aus. I will be picking it up tonight and then as planned, Saturday install and downgrade day set aside!

After Sat I may have to find another little project!

BUT, a new courier attempt delivery card was in the postbox. So I will have it tonight.

E3 Card Reader arrived.
What a cheap bit of plastic that thing is. I suppose you pay for the software side of.
The case comes out and you can get to the PCB. Looks hand soldered!

Anyway, it should do the business and then it will be sold on.
