cant remember how to FTP>!

hey guys
im running my PS3 with OPENPS3 FTP, my PS3s IP is
10.1.1.2
am i right in thinking in flash fxp all i need to do is pop in the ip, root and openbox as username and password, port 21 and im in? coz i cant get it to work, got the laptop harwired to the ps3
any ideas?

Plug an ethernet cable from your PS3 to your PC directly.

Go to internet setup on your PS3, click wired connection and manually enter the ip settings.

I did:

10.1.1.1 for the IP address
255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask
10.1.1.1 for the default gateway
10.1.1.1 for the DNS

Then on your PC, go to Local Area Connection and ipv4, click properties and then change your ip to static and input


10.1.1.2 for the IP address
255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask
10.1.1.1 for the default gateway
10.1.1.1 for the DNS

Go to the FTP application on your PS3, and click start.

Then go on your PC, use FlashFXP or something similar and enter

10.1.1.1 as the connection
Port 21
password - put anything, I did abc
username - FTPD12345

Click connect. And you are good to go

try blackbox ftp mate, you only need the ip address that way

I cant remember how to install new things on it mate its been that long! flashfxp says invalid username or password
