its over heating, and has YLOD. need to reflow the board with a heat gun. there is a guide in the stickys.
you can also try and blow a hairdrier in the back of it for about an hour. sometimes this works as a temporary fix. just long enough to get it down to gamestation/game to trade it in

yes mate someone selling one on their.. as I am after another one (read my other post on here why I want another PS3) may take the risk and get a faulty one and see if I can get it fixed
