I had a Technetix HDU-400 running fine for the past 12 months or so then suddenly is stopped and the internet TiVo the lot stopped Saturday. First thing I changed out the cables, nothing so I just went direct outside to router and the router worked fine. I tried diff combo's but as soon as I added the splitter it all went off. It's showing power (green light) so I take it it's dead inside somewhere.
The thing is, I need 4 output connections, 3 downstairs and one going upstairs, which should I get as most of those I can see are either 2 or 3 outputs?. I've seen the HDU-400 on Ebay but i'll be dammed if I'm paying 50 sods for one, I think I paid £15-£20 for this Technetix.

Snap I was just looking at that, yep looks the job to me , thanks you

It will probably work but remember these devices cant increase the SNR but can help power the split..

for instance if the SNR is 6db entering, 6DB will leave.. however it it will allow the split of 6Db per port..

If your on the wrong tap, your on the wrong tap :(
