Manchester United thread

If things stay the way they are, I doubt we will be hearing off @gasman anytime soon. Would be defeat of the season in fairness! OGS will be gone by Christmas :)

Please regale us with what was wrong today then. Worst result of the season. Bring back Mourinho!
Never a penalty, Bacuna should have seen red.
John Moss, if you are going to be asked to apply bias for/against a team, at least attempt to disguise it. You utter corrupt cheat of a Football Association. With any luck VAR stops this but they will still be in charge of the cameras. Can adapt the footage for their needs.
Result of the season was the FA failing to hand the league title to the nearly men despite extensive and non exhaustive attempts. Sweet result.

Come on @gasman, you can do better than that. You're basically blaming an inept ref for your piss poor performance against a relegated side. You were crowing a few weeks ago about OGS, now the axel has broken, you've drifted into the oblivion. Perhaps come August you'll be a little more cockahoop. Welcome to mid-table mediocrity, but with OGS in charge could it even be a relegation battle next year...

Would like to see Spurs win but I'm just looking forward to a great game tbh, both teams probably deserve it but only one can win unfortunately.

Well..........................

Diago Doalot, Fred and Lee Grant last year and Daniel James this year, Man Utd fans must be wetting themselves with anticipation

Harsh on Daniel James in fairness. He's a class act, very much in the mould of Gareth Bale. Give the kid a chance before passing judgement, and at 18 million he's a steal.

We nearly bagged him for 7 mill in January but we wanted half then half at end or season or something like that and the deal fell through.

Livid i was as you say a class act so young. I hope he doesn't end up a bench warmer that would be a real shame.

Wasn't even that dude! You refused to pay a 1 million up front fee for the loan, then with the option to buy for 7 million. Leeds must be kicking themselves.

He's better than 99% of the Man Utd midfield, so I doubt he'll be a bench warmer.

Sorry but 33 professional games in the second tier does not suggest to me that 18 million he is a steal.
However if he turns out to be as good as James Maddison or David Brookes then he would be a steal.

Have you seen him play? Did you see what he did to Man City? How many games did the player you sold to Brighton play before you sold him for 18 million?

Unfortunately it's the price of the modern footballer these days, especially UK talent. If you dont want to sell, but a club wants to buy, then you hold all the cards. Was Andy Carrol worth 50m when he signed for Liverpool?

Let the boy play a few premiership games before you pass judgement, and he will improve the Utd midfield, although tbh that's not hard atm.

Daniel James was given 67k per week when he signed other day. He was on 5k per week at Swansea. Man Utd have to pay these wages to get the signings, as they have nothing else to offer presently.
