Manchester City Thread

I think that Gasman is weighing up his options on who to support next season.

Will it be Man City or will it be Liverpool?

Im sad that he's done a runner. Whilst his banter was terrible, and he couldn't give a straight answer, he was still a good guy. Or at least I think he was :)

We might hear off him tomorrow if Utd beat Everton, but let's hope the bluenoses do it for everyone.

I did send him to bed Jan for being naughty. Shall I let him out now? He has been there since the Champions match. 🤔 Shall I feed him too?.

Nah, he's not allowed to rise until after monday ;)
🤣🤣🤣🤣 😳you mean gasman could be J.C ? in person. Well he does think United walks on water doesn't he and he does talk a lot about the parting of the red and blue sea Jan. Hmm😉

This must a hard one for Man Uninted fans ? Beat City on Wednesday and gift the title to Liverpool, or lose to City and virtually give up Champions League football next year, Mmmmm

Gastradamus should hopefully share his thoughts on this dilemma🙄🤔

CL football was always an outside chance, and I think the majority had given up the ghost on getting that final place long before OGS went on that amazing run.

Did anyone see the Gary Neville interview the other night, where he openly suggested that the Utd team would be weakened against City due to player rotation, but it was dependent upon them beating Everton. When did Utd as a team and their supporters accept losing to their city rivals as acceptable to ensure a Liverpool wouldn't win the title. Honestly you couldn't make this stuff up!

So all of us UTD supporters fall under this statement of fact by you?

For the record I really do not care who wins the Title if its not UTD, and I hope we go out and stuff City on Wednesday whether we have a chance of top 4 or not.

Surely the objective is for your team to win as many games possible, to finish as high up the table as possible, no matter what imo.🤔

Whilst it is a statement, it doesn't constitute fact. It's an opinion, and a general consensus, one that your ex players have been peddling quite happily via the media.

Also, it was your ex player Gary Neville who said those things, I was merely quoting him. And from your statement, you're in the minority, although I see your fellow Mancs are backing you up with likes, yet are not offering their opinions on the matter.

Except you are presenting it as fact by your query as to when did this happen, anyhow this is the City thread and @miggy I said "I hope we go out and stuff City on Wednesday" although thats looking less likely as time goes by :D

Sorry Wiz, I dont understand what you're trying to imply. I was merely showing what your own supporters are saying.

@langland no chance of an Everton thread, I think i'm one of the only supporters on this forum ;)

You can argue this toss with yourself then Jan.😉🤣

That comes across as a bit of a cop out tbf, a kind of lets just throw that hand grenade in there and see who gets hit type thing, if you weren't trying to state it as fact why bother stating it in the first place?

Most sensible people know its not true,I'm sure there are a few who want us to let City win but would reckon its a minority,

Thought you were a Swansea fan?

No hand grenade. Simply dissemination of information to the masses.

I am of course a Swansea fan, having lived and grown up here. However, as with the majority of small town clubs, when I was young everyone supported someone in the 1st division, be that Liverpool, Utd, Spurs.

When Swansea were in the PL and they played Everton, of course I supported the Swans as my home town club, and continue to do so now. And it's not like we'd have a Swansea thread is it :D

@avid, I don't do Scottish mate, too much anger and sectarianism.

Exactly Jan, our gasman is very fond of criticising every other team but his own. He will probably come up with some petty excuse that they had the hardest group or something.🤔😟
We had Barcelona, yo had friggin Spuds 😁 not much else to say.
We stand as equals in the CL this year.
