Openbox v8s load.... 97,98 again load error how to fix !!

openbox v8s using after network updated its bricked now installed new firmware but still no disply only showing load... 96.97 again load same repeat , how to fix this??? error kindly help me

I have the same problem with two v8s
I think that is a memory problem, I have one that only shows load and another that loading at 97/98 but not turn on. Tested many firmwares and not solve

Has anyone got any info on pin to pin for the null modem cable ? My V8S is bricked and I think I am having connection problems trying to unbrick it.

Sorry to have to ask again, I should have stated before, I need pin to pin RS232 to USB...thanks

Tried looking at attachment 126938 but it states "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action" ??.

I have just purchased yet another null modem cable from ebay.....

I now do get the "Done" message when I plug in the power supply. After a few seconds I should get "Start downloading" BUT I DONT.....
HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP

After a around 5 seconds the following comes up: "Set stb memory error" followed underneath by "Click "Back" to try again"....I have tried this several times to no avail....

Does anyone know what would clear this stb memory error message ?? I have also tried this on my second 'bricked' box with the same results !!

which files are you using to flash box with as if you use wrong file you will get this issue

It would appear that I need the OPENBOX_V8S_160525_ALLN_New_version.zip file but where do I get it from ? I appear not to have enough posts yet to be able to download it.....can anyone help

Am having the same problems with a V8S box. It was stuck in a loading loop. I managed to run the firmware, but now it is stuck in LOAD display. Any ideas from anyone?
