If your looking for 8 cameras and 8 channel DVR I'm sorry but you'll get exactly what you pay for.
Budget end ?
I would say get a Hikvision/Hitwatch 104g or 108g. Start by ripping the HD drive out of an old TiVo or sky box they will do the job fine.
Then use:-
THC-220 cameras £25 each,
Cat5e CCA 100m £16 Kenable,
108g DVR 8 camera (no hd) £55,
104g DVR 4 camera (no HD) £35,
some baluns cable clips £10
your done.
£150 8 cameras ?that's pushing it m8, try this:
Squint your eyes virtually shut, now look out of your window, that's a £150 8 camera setup on playback.
Now some ppl might say I can get cheaper than what I've said, that might be true but I bet thier that sh"t its pointless having them.
Don't forget im talking about installing a lowbudget job here, but pretty ok for a low price plus mobile phone monitoring
