Has anyone managed to find a cover plate to put over their light switches. I'll be fiting a couple hue bulbs (and hue dimmers) in the kids bedroom and other rooms around the house , but need a neat tidy solution to cover the switch to stop kids and everyone else operating the light switch accidently. I've been searching around the net and can't find anything apart from blanking plates and piece of cardbaord over the switches whch people have actually done.

I think a read later in 2018 Philips will be releasing actual Philips hue compatible light switches that can replace your standard light switch... Iv been waiting for something like this for years!

Until then I have seen some 3d printed covers for hue Dimmer remote on ebay

I bought 2 of these haven't fitted them yet but I will post some pics. Seem pretty decent and much better quality than the 3d printed stuff.

Here's some pics of the samotech cover fitted.

The only thing is the actual remote is slightly loose might see if I can get some stronger magnets. The remote is a few years old now so a new one should be pretty snug.

Just need to find the app to reconfigure the buttons.

I want to so you press
Power once: Lamp one ON
Power twice: Lamp one + two ON
Power three: Lamp one+ two + ceiling ON

Dimming will stay the same.

Off will be the same as on but in reverse.
