I've got a Zgemma Star H2 receiver
Also got a 24 hour Vermin test N Line
Plus have an IPTV Sub which uses the XtreamTV Plugin

Which image/build would be best to use for this type of setup?

In the past I've not been able too install the XtreamTV plugin on to an OpenVix image and I've had issues with MgCam on a wooshbuild setup, so any advice on this would be appreciated.

I've currently got Wooshbuild 7 on the STB but can't get the N Line to work!

im using openatv.6.1 plus XtreamTV Plugin and workes fine

Thanks for the reply
Can you tell me the location and format the N Line needs to be in, did you just edit the example .list file found in var/usrs/keys or did you use some other method/files?

Also when it came to installing the XtreamTV plugin, did you download it from the plugins section or install it via USB??

Thanks in advance for your time and help with this.

newcamd file should look like this

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 60
CWS = Server-address port username password 746195 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

The files iv sent are CCcam.cfg , mg_cfg and newcamd.list

so you just have to edit CCcam.cfg and newcamd.list with your line info

when i setup my box i never new where the files were going so i copied them to user/keys and var/keys

and it worked lol

Not having much luck with getting this box up and running.
I got the Open ATV 6.1 image from the zegemm.tv website
Flashed it to the box
FTP'd both the files across with the credentials the supplier provided
Installed mgcam 1.38a and Cccam 2.30 on the box via the plugins menu
Went to assign and start the cams in the info panel but keep on getting a message advising no ecm found

Did a channel update which took forever, set the net ID and selected tuner B as the default tuner
The EPG's started to populate thereafter but still no channels

Trying another image now with the Vermin Skin pre-installed, may be that'll help as the other image was more geared towards sly users.

When I tried to install the cam mentioned in post 585 mentioned above, it installs but I can't find it to use anywhere!

Any further advise on where I might be going wrong here would be appreciated.

if you installed the mgcam 1.38a press red on the remote control

SoftcamPanel

highlight (select Cam1) and press right arrow on your remote you will see mgcam 1.38a

So in the end I ended up installing the latest wooshbuild infinity, with that I've managed to clear the freeview channels but still not having any luck with the others, so I'm thinking there is an issue with the line, I'm giving up for this evening and going to reach out to the provider again and hit the box again tomorrow with fresh eyes

Sometimes you have to stop mgcam 1.38a in SoftcamPanel

press red , then press green to start it again and see if it clears

But check with your provider to see if its live ect

This is what my newcamd.list looks like

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 60
CWS = vm******* 104** spud**** 7461** 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Server-address port username password

on a open atv newcamd.list and mg_cgf go in usr/keys

if you are still having issues, I am more than happy to remote onto your laptop and have a look.

did you install cam from the softcam menu in plugins - if you cant seem it then you need to install the softcam feed ipk file in order to download via plugin

I think I may need to take you up on this offer as I'm loosing the hair I don't even have on my head in trying to sort this box out!

So far I've got the latest infinity wooshbuild on the box which is a zgemma star h2
Got IPTV working just fine
The latest infinity wooshbuild came with mgcamd 1.35a pre-installed
Pasted my N-Line into the files spud uploaded and placed them in the uses/keys folder
Rebooted the box every time I made a change
Upon restart I accessed the soft panel, selected 1.35a and clicked restart, got a message saying CAM 1 is active but underneath that message I get another message saying NO ECM info found.

Via the plugin menu I have uninstalled mgcamd 1.35a and tried uploading the r1 version mentioned in spuds post above via USB but it tries to install and then just comes back with a message advising that 0 applications were removed or installed, I have made sure that I have placed a tick in the check box before clicking install.

Then I tried to install the r2 version found via the plugin menu but that just fails to install for some reason?!?!

Tried other Users template files, as in newcamd.list plus the .mfg file.

Been back to the provider to see if there is something up with the line but he confirmed that the line was fine and active on his end.

The only thing I haven't tried is a channel rescan, I am however currently clearing the FTA channels, so I don't think that would make a difference would it??

I can't seem to find the r1 version on mgcamd anywhere to try, so any other suggestions or advice on what might be going on here would be helpful

how did you edit the file ? you can do it by FTP or use notepad++

Notepad++ Home

you have to edit newcamd.list and CCcam.cfg with your providers info

the mg_cfg i uploaded is setup for virgin

I can't seem to find the r1 version on mgcamd

r2 will be fine

I just used the normal notepad application on windows and also tried via filezilla's right click edit option and yes I edited both the newcamd.list and CCcam.cfg with the info that provider gave me plus used the mg_cfg file you uploaded above - I've tried various combos but still no joy, I'm going to leave this till the weekend now as I've wasted too much time on it already and it ain't even my box!

if you have Open ATV 6.1 /6.2 installed and have FTA channels working and OpenWebif enabled

we could teamview and i would set it up for you m8

you said nline

newcamd.list uses CWS for line

example

CWS = <server> <port> <username> <password> 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

obviously add your details
