Recovering your Dreambox 800 HD SE

could try optiflasher or japher a few options about

Mini flashup only work via ethernet. Nothing will work via wifi.

Japhar flasher as recommended by alimac is another option but youll need both a service cable and ethernet cable connected for that to work.

Ok guy's managed to flash it with this image DDD-dm800se-OE1-6-5-0-ramiMAHER.nfi and bootloader sim2_800SE_SSL84B.nfi...I won't bother going into all the technical jargon of how I did it as it's way too complicated and I don't want to bore you. roud:

Anyhoo can I now just flash an up to date image or does it have to go through various stages for the bootloader? :Cheers:

You have 84b now so a 84d image will flash directly over it no need to update the bootloader.

There is a jumper on the motherboard underneath the tuner. Move it to the next position and the flashup button will work.

dflash should work with the V2 model.

hi I have a genuine dreambox 800se without the flash button at the back the power on button stays blue and wont boot up the display doesn't work burn out so I don't know if its got no ca found and I cant get the box ip address any idea how I can try and fix ?

Try another power supply mate

You could try japhar flasher with service cable and ethernet cable attactched.

Japhar flasher is a patched dreamup that is very useful if your problem is the no ca error.

My daughters husband screwed up their dreambox and i'm looking for software to reinstall.
There was openpli 4 on the box and it's an sim210 box.
were do i find this software

After flashing my DM800HDsev2 it doesn't boot. Error is "2nd Failed!" Please help
