Hi, call me a an ol fart if you wish I have installed smartiptv app on my lg tv and was wondering if there was anything good I could do with this?.... I have had a few to drink seeing as the sun is out and was just wondering is all. If there is I would be grateful if someone could post a link to somewhere I could learn more

The smart IPTV does not sell or issue any streaming service. It is only an app that allows you to run your IPTV that you got from your supplier.
Basically you find a provider. Supplier will issue a URL or file. You then upload suppliers details to "smartIPTV" website along with your tv MAC address then restart the app on your tv then your good to go.

The app is only free for 7 days then it's £5 for lifetime licence

Are you using it? I don't mind the 1 off charge if I could maybe get good ip streams with it. I.e. Sly sports etc

as mentioned there is a 1 off charge of about £4.50 for the app.
the app does not come with any IPTV sources.
you have to supply your own services or find an IPTV supplier.
But as far as the app goes...i use it and it works good.

I use this also, had it going for 2 Years now, was only £ 2 at the time but must have put it up a bit now with the high demand.

I'm a bit loose on iptv servers etc are there any good free ones ;) that I could link the app too?

I've tried a few just to try and set it up but none work so no I will leave it. I'm thinking either links are out of date or maybe app is blocking them.

Don't let the free ones put you off as they are shit. A decent paid sub gives plenty and glitch free ;)

Thanks ianb at mo I'm ok using mobdro and terrarium but as soon as that's gone then I think the paid route I will be taking is LG smart iptv. Just wanted to learn a bit about it. I've set it up and fta works ok .

Smells like bullshit to me. I just checked out their forum and their resellers are complaining like mad about issues with the service.
Repeated requests for these issues to be fixed are being ignored.

Back on the case now can any of our long standing citizens point me in the right direction of a good sourced server to link my iptv too. I have purchased the app now need to upload a well served M3u list. With free trials if possible so I can try before I buy so to speak.

Yes just google iptv server test line and pick one

Most will take cards, just google IPTV server UK

a lot of servers are now getting hit hard by the isp epl blocking

Are there any that you can pay by card or are they all bit coin.
There is loads that take cards. Not as many paypal payments about as there accounts are getting suspended for selling there service so openly online.
As @turner brown says theres more and more servers getting blocked during premier leauge games.
Find out from your provider if you need a VPN.
There is still many out there that dont require a VPN. I suspect its only time till those servers are affected also.
