hwo do you attach wiper

hey guys - my daugters vw golf 1,6tdi passenger side wiper was knackered, so i thought id replace it, anyway vw dont sell single wipers , have to buy both for £34 what a rip off ..any way bought THIS her from ebay, apparently supposed to be very good, any way how does this fit the arm, i can remove the original one , easy, but cant seem to figure how to of the adaptors fit ?..do i need to reuse any part from the origianl ?, instructions in box are difficult to undesrstand see pic..

I bought a universal wiper from tesco a few weeks back. It looked different all over lol and i thought it was not going to attach.
After a bit of fiddling i sort of sussed it without needing any of the confusing attachment accessories.

It wasn't a VW (was a Focus) but keep batting, even of it looks completely different.

Unattach the plastic clips off the old wiper as the clips that have come with your new ones don’t look alike. Unless you have some more that are not shown in the pic. They should pop off. Have a look at the new ones and you can see how they attach . They simply just click in place. Be careful with the old clips as they may have become brittle with sun exposure. They are very similar to Ford ones. Mine were purchased from eBay but came with the correct clips.

after struggling for a while ive sort of fitted it, i tried to remove the old clip of the original one but the actual locking square tab sort of broke as it was brittle, the original wiper adaptor is different fitting and wouldnt have fitted on the new wiper blade..anyway i managed to use one of the adaptors that came with the bosch wiper. althought its fitted i couldnt get both of the side plastic lugs to fit into the wiper arm, its virtually impossible to get both to fit inside the wiper arm..just not enough space ,as you can see one of the pastic lugs is sticking out from the side, the square locking tab is engaged in the hole but not fully..just hope it doesnt fly off..see pic.

If it's a tight fit it may hold. Good luck.

yes seems like a tight fit..but would have preffered if the tab fully engaged but seems secure enough..no doubt ill leave appropriate feedback on the bay...
