Having a problem with Notifications on android facebook

Guys, I use a a tipster service via facebook and im only getting the group notification silently when the admin of the group posts his tips. i.e NO notification sound to warn me the tip is up and live. so if phone in my pocket or out view I dont see it and miss the tip

I get a notification sound when a friend posts in other groups or replies to posts Ive made. But nothing in group posts unless the admin is a friend of mine then i get sounds

Any Idea? need to try and get this working

I think its facebook m8 mine has changed and you can no longer change the default sound

Ive changed the default sound no problem Napster mate. go into settings on phone, APPS/Facebook/permissions/ click on that and add storage by putting a tick in box. then come out of it and restart facebook. then go back in to sounds and change the notification sound for facebook in the apps setting on your phone from default to whatever you want

I'm having the same problem with facebook pages manager
Since last update not getting any notifications
Not ideal when you use it for business grrrr

@Rat John you still having problems with this shite?

I am so downloaded an app today from play store . set it up and it seems to have sorted it by using the app. "Notifications for Facebook" its called. remeber to go into settings/battery/ unmornitored apks and add this app to the ones that are unmonitored . Try is and see if it works for you if your still having problems
