Hi Thanks for your help. The other test line was the same nothing showing in the cam. I have installed the newcamd, it is showing in the Blackhole blue panel. How do l get into the cam to add the line. Is this done manually or as a config file?

.you need to ftp to your vu+duo2 using a fxp client like filezilla, i use flashfxp...once you have connected to your box, naviagte to var - keys- newcamd.list, right click on the newcamd.list and edit...enter your line like this: obviously you have to enter the deatils you got when you got the test line, the one below is an example with dummy details.

save it...exit flaxhfxp program..press blue button remote and start mgcamd1.38..

No l think l might be doing something wrong, this is new to me. In flash fxp l went to network and found my vu duo. Clicked that and found configuration, keys was in that but couldn't do anything with. I think l am going wrong somewhere!
Can you upload a screenshot of the folder system fxp finds on login ?
I am at work at the moment, and it will be late tonight before l get any time to myself, l will do that tonight and post it. On another note l was using one of your black hole images, with meow boot. Didn't know what it meant but worked fantastically for years with no problem. You do a cracking job.
Not done many backups on my duo 2 for years

Right from the start of this mate ive stated as CCcam was not showing your line at all in the server section of the web interface the CCcam.cfg is either incorrectly named or corrupt there the only 2 reasons for it.

I agree, the file is Cccam.cfg, and the line as far as l can see is correct. My provider has supplied a new line as a config file and that is the same, l will check the file name again tonight. I am sure it is something daft.

Yes it is a cline and yes l transfer it to the etc folder. I can't understand what is going wrong, l flashed your image list night had to reinstall the TS panel, reinstall cams redo my dish setting. Rebooted, installed line as config file. Rebooted, nothing. I will now install newcam again, and try that. I might need a bit of help with that because l couldn't find where or how to install the Cline.
Just a thought l have installed multiple cams, that wouldn't be a problem would it?

The cams were already installed on that image 4 of them all you needed to do was activate one on the blue button there was absolutely no need for the tspanel and i always advice against it.
If your using mgcamd in usr keys there is a file called ccamd that is where you paste your line in you also need a good mg_cfg setup correctly for mgcamd to work.
My advice re flash dont bother with tspanel start one of the pre installed cams from the blue button CCcam till we get it figured out jumping to other cams is not helping you at all.
Out of intrest what satellites/services are you trying to clear ?
Makes a lot of sence. Will do that tonight, one of my favourites is syfy on 19e. I also have a spider HD 9000, that works fine so l do know what will clear and what won't. Both lines are from the same provider.
