options please

and these are done by streaming ? you dont need a cable line??? with a zgemma i55???
The zgemma i55 does not have any tuners for sat and cable. Its an IPTV box only.
If I were you (only my suggestion)
To save a few notes I'd go with the smartIPTV app first. Now the app does NOT give you streams the app is only a gateway to your streams that you paid for from a supplier.
If you don't like it on smartTV ask your IPTV provider to issue a script for the zgemma i55 if you decide to buy one.
(Providing they do scripts)

Also I would not commit to taking a year at the start. Maybe one month as there's some rubbish out there to quick to empty your pocket.

so i was looking a zgemma and there are different models and not being in a cable area i would need the i55 as streaming is my only option, is this right????

Yeah the i55 is just a e2 box without the tuner kinda tweaked for IPTV

Heard bad reviews on the zgemma i55 and they are really just your Chinese cheap option, for not a lot extra you should get a mag box , the mag254w1 has built in WiFi and would be my choice, plus very easy to get up and running as you just give the Mac address on the box to however your subscription is with and he should set it up for you.

Id agree with that mate just not a magbox of ebay as there clones fail regularly and give the real mag boxes a bad rep.

where do you get a real mag box from then?

if you get a mag box and give the box address to a provider and its say rubish can you give it to another provider? can you do a few trials with it what im getting at is not a one use box ie once you give it to a provider you are stuck with them???

Its not single use lol can upload as many times as you like the former always being overwritten. Smart iptv app works in the exact same way. My provider I get the channels sorted in bouquets and epg I also get a shit load of box sets and movies all of decent quality

oh dear more i dont understand and have to learn BOUQUETS ???
but your mac on a mag it tied to your subscription though and cant be changed from box to box if i got this right but you can over ride a subscription with another provider is that correct????

Go to infomer official site.
This is how it is with mag/enigma/smartTV.

When your setting up the mag box your supplier will ask you for the MAC address. This is after you filled the portol with suppliers DNS. Now the line is tied to that mag box and MAC address CAN NOT be changed on mag boxes.
I have just had bad experiences with mag boxes. With them playing up.
Although as other members have pointed out they were most likely clones.

With the smartTV app you upload suppliers details along with the TV MAC address to smart IPTV website.
You are not tied to the Mac on the tv if all fails as your uploading a "m3u" file or "URL". That file/URL can be used on other devices.

Enigma2 (zgemma i55) is setup just like any other zgemma. I only use a flawless script as it does everything you want in minutes and has full sky+ look and feel to it.
Had my i55 running awhile and never had a single issue with it.

I am probably in favour to every IPTV box on the market other than mag boxes as they cost to much if they go wrong. Even today I've seen posts in the forum with mag problems.

Attached is how I have mine setup on i55 running script.
Much better layout.

Its the clones that are messing with the mag box reputation.

I passed a mag 250 on to my brother that i got on their release. Still going. For newbies they are a top option the Zgemmas are fine even with the suspect build quailty but require some knowledge.

When choosing an iptv provider try a one day trail and then pay monthly. It will workout more expensive but safer than paying 6 to 12 months upfront and the provider getting shut down or doing a bunk..

Depends what you're watching but if it's sports make sure you try your trial at a busy time. A lot of providers are fine when it's quiet and struggle when everyone is watching at the same time.

I have only used enigma2 boxes which I find brilliant, something like a Zgemma h2s or newer , get a supplier that supplies a putty script Inc full EPG and bouquets, happy days (this is just my opinion)
