Hey,

a while back i install a USB Terrestrial tuner on my VU Solo2 running openVix 5.0. The picture quality was perfect on most channels and glitched on the others. I did not watch the Terrestial channels much so i may have been lucky and they just happened to be ok when i was watching and glitchy when i wasnt.

I flashed a clean image on my receiver as i had a lot of crap on the old image. the thing is now that the channels that were fine before are now glitching and the other channels seem ok.

Id say more than likely it is an aerial issue but i dont know what good signal is? below is a screenshot of my tuner signal. The BER signal always fluctuates. can be in the range 0-60000. In the picture below it is 33787

Anyone know if that is considered good?

yeah it use to work grand but i very rarely used it.

I take it that the solo 2 can't test the signal properly?

Your Pic shows no SNR 0% which is basically the Signal your not getting any that could explain a few things

why do some channels work fine?

i assumed that was 0% as that is used to measure sat feed.

and what is the SNR on those channels that it works fine on, still seems to be a definite aerial problem

i was looking at the cable going into the back of the box. there is a lot of cables around it so i separated thinking the others may be causing interface or something. I also cut the cable and reconnected the connection. all seems good now. all channels come in fine now.

seems to be no difference to the signal that signal finder is showing me other than the BER only fluctuates from 0-1000 now instead of 0-60000
