This box is only 16.5 cm length and 13cm breadth and this box is quite simple to set up with an extreamly sharp hd picture and quality sound

1. Connecting Your System

1.If you have a high definition television set, you should use a HDMI cable for best result. Plug one end of the cable into the HDMI socket on the receiver and the other end into the matching socket on your television. In this case, you do not have to make audio connections because the HDMI connector can output stereo audio or Dolby digital audio.
2.Connect one end of RCA cable to the RCA jack on the back of the receiver and the other end to a RCA jack on your TV.
3.You will need to obtain a component video Cable (RCA cable) to use the component video connector. Plug one end of the Cables into the Y (Green), Pb (Blue) and Pr (Red) Sockets on the digital receiver, and the other end into the matching sockets on your television.


2. Basic Operations
2.1 Turn on STB
First, press the [Device’s Main Power] to turn on the unit.
When the STB is first used, there will play the first channel from the default Channel List. If the STB is not first used, STB will play the same channel as last time before turning off.
3.2 Power
1 Press [Power] Key can enter the Standby state
2 In Standby state, press [Power] Key again can call back the unit and go on play the previous channel
3 User can also disconnect the device’s main power to end the Standby state.

3.3 Channel Up/Channel Down
In full screen, press [CH+/CH-] to change channel.

3.4 Volume Up/Volume Down-
In full screen, press [VOL+/VOL-] to adjust volume.
3.5 Number
In full screen, use number key and press [OK] on the Remote Control Unit to change channel.
3.6 Mute
1 Press [MUTE] key to mute the sound and the screen will show up mute OSD.
2 Press [MUTE] key again to restore sound.

3.7 Pause
1In playing mode, press [Pause] key, the picture will be paused, but the sound of the channel will still continues. 2Press [PAUSE] key again, the screen’s picture will skip over to the current playing picture, and the sound of the
channel will corresponding playing.

3.8 Recall
Press [RECALL] key will directly switch to the previous channel that you played before current channel.

3.9 Favorite
1In full screen, press [FAV] key, it will display a window of
“Favorite Group” on the left of the screen, which you can watch like below.
2In the window of “Favorite”, you can move highlight by press
[Channel Up/Channel Down] key and press [OK] key to select favorite group.
3In the window of “Fav group X”, you can move highlight by press [Channel Up/Channel Down] key and press [OK] key to select favorite channels. Pressing [Page Up/Page Down] keys can implement the “Page up/Page down” function

You also can press [Volume Up/Volume Down] keys to select different “Favorite Group”.
5 Press [Exit] key to exit the current window.
? Frequently Asked Question
Q: Why the screen displays “No Favorite Channel”, after pressing [Favorite] key?
A: It is because that you haven’t set any channels as “favorite channel”. Please refer to Favorite

3.10 Audio

1In full screen, press [AUDIO] key can open the “Audio” window on the screen.
2You can modify the audio track by press [Channel Up / Channel Down] key and modify the audio mode by press [Volume Up / Volume Down] key.
3Mode: Left/Right/Stereo/Mono

3.11 Information

In full screen, press [INFO] key can open information screen, in the window shows the parameters of current channel.

3.12 EPG
The STB has an Electronic Program Guide (EPG) to help you navigate channels through all the possible viewing options. The EPG supplies information such as channel listings and starting and ending times for all available channels.
Press [EPG] key to display EPG screen.
Press [OK] key in each item can see more detail information and press [Red] key to cancel

Press [Red] key in EPG menu can display “Time Bar” Menu. In “Time Bar” menu, you can press [Left/Right] to select “back/current time/last program or –0:30/next program or +0:30/-2:00/+2:00/last day/next day”. Press [Up/Down] key to channel change.

1Press [Green] key in EPG menu can open timer menu. User can save a timer as he want.
2In EPG menu, press [Exit] to close EPG screen.

3.13 TV/RADIO
In TV mode, pressing [TV/RADIO] key can switch to Radio mode. In Radio mode, press [TV/RADIO] key to switch to TV mode.

3.14 Channel List
1In full screen, press [OK] key or [CH.LIST] can enter “Channel
List”.
2Press [Left/Right] key to change TV channel and FAV channle 3Press [Up/Down] key to move highlight and press [OK] key to
play the highlighted channel.
4Press [Page Up/Down] key to page up and page down.
5Press [Exit] key to exit the channel list.

Are any of you guys running one of these HD boxes? If so any feedback?
 
I am running a phantom SD box when I scan on 1 frequency I get bbc1 and ITV but not bbc2 and channel4 to get these I have to scan on another frequency but then loose the first channels is there a way of storing both

i need to know how to connect a externall hard drive into my phantom box and what format does it need to be in

you can watch from any connected drive with correct file format media content so yes any recording.
have you tried to play it back first before asking here.?
 
I have downloaded and stored all Chanel's on my phantom hd box but I am only getting subtitles on sky sports etc any ideas how to get picture ???
 
Is there a new flash for phantom sd as not picking up any channels

if not picking up channels can be signal issue if not clearing that is different issue
 
hello got the phantom hd box flashed it got about 350 channels but scrambled put 1819 on remote still no cable channels need help please
 
Anybody know where to buy a replacement remote for the phantom sd box thanks if anybody can help.
 
look for a logitech harmony can get the cheap models for about £15-20 and will do plus tons more devices
