Advice

Just Panick if the default password is changed and you did not change it....
If that is the case I suggest a rebuild as you probably have someone else messing it about.

First check that there isnt a problem with what you are typing. Type the password into the username box to make sure it is appearing correctly, as maybe a key isnt working or typing the wrong character if keyboard layout has changed etc.

If you dont want to do that, then simply download Hiren's Boot CD and save the iso to disk, boot from this and you will be able to change any passwords on the pc.
good luck

Tried ERD command didnt work, a lad from my I.T department also gave me some software that let me change it but when i boot it up the password still dont work. i will give the last programme a try and finger crossed hopefully. Last thing ERD command lets me get into the harddrive and change password but the password dont seem to work. am i doing anything wrong?

press ctrl + alt + del twice on the password screen, this should take you to the administrator setup, you can get in that way....or via entering bios, on bootup press f2 i think it is , this will enter you into the bios, im sure there is an option in there to get in under passwords....
