is there anyway of either removing, finding out or bypassing a bios password.
somebody has been ****ing around with a computer at work and changed the setup, and locked us out with a pass word.
it wouldn't normally bother me, being a works pc, but it is there for us to send e-mails,etc.
any advice would b appreciated.
i had heard if u take the battery off the mother board, this should clear the settings and password?

For what it's worth, I have found that removing the bios chip - placing it on a metal strip ( to short out all the pins together) for a few seconds clears the password - then replace the chip. It may work for you - good luck.

the battery trick worked anyway m8, left it out for half hour and it had cleared when i put it back. thanks anyway.

If you got an Award Motherboard you can try this password remover.
Hold down left shift and type AWARD_SW This should remove password
