To manually check for updates to Adobe Reader

Open up the Adobe Reader program and click on Help in the top menu – then click on ‘Updates’ or ‘Check for Updates’.
You will then see any available updates and can select and add them before starting the update process. You may need to restart your computer to make the changes take effect.


Did you run super anti spyware and other scans in safe mode?
If not try that first.

sorry joe like isaid i need idiot proof where do i find Abode Reader program i cant find it and ive tried superanti in safe mode

To disable JavaScript, users should follow the steps below:
1. Launch Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
2. Select Edit>Preferences
3. Select the JavaScript Category
4. Uncheck the Enable Acrobat JavaScript option
5. Click OK.

Also check in your browser IE Firefox
At the top of Firefox
Tools: Add-ons
look for Extensions & Plugins
and see if you can see either Adobe reader or Java
disable them for now

Have a look in your program's to see anything is installed that you dont know what it is or did not know it was there
Start button: Control panel - Programs - Uninstall a program
and look in there ok
