Malware how do you get rid of " GetPrivate ads"

well guys - just installed windows 10 on my pc dowbstairs, kids have been on the pc ..now when im browsing i get these pop ups from " GetPrivate ads" how the hell did this get on there really bloody annoyng...its not in the add/remove program list...nor is in the firfox "addons/extensions"....anyone know how to get rid of this crap?..cheers

get a good adblock setup maybe try blocking them with a hosts file etc
prevention is the best cure

running malwarebytes permium & decent security will help

too be honest i think its the kids who do this, they just download any old rubbish...hence the adware/malware/virus etc..i have eset nod 32 as my antivirus and using the windows 10 firewall....damm those pesky kids lol....this is the family pc so any tom,dick and harry uses this pc...and i mean literally cos those are the user names..lol

anyway ran malwarebytes in safe mode...seems to have done the trick....but also delted some programs never heard of vegas something ...perhaps it was in one of those..

I would check you installed programs list via control panel > prgrammes> , I suspect that on the day that the kid installed something you will find a bunch of programs that were installed in addition. ight be a good idea to uninstall but make sure you know what they are before you do.
