Looking for some advice. My laptop won't switch on with charger cable plugged in, even removing the battery and trying again I can't any power. LED light is lit on charger but as soon as I put it into the laptop the light goes off and stays off even after removing it. Any help would be great

Have you check out your power supply does the green light on it show, does any lights on the laptop come on at all

best to slap a multi meter on the power supply and see what volts its kicking out

then you will know if it's working ok

cheers guys,

Napster the charger does have the green light on it but as soon as it goes into the laptop the green light goes out.

No power at all to the machine and before it cut off it had a full charge as it was plugged in at the time.

Check what spud says and see if there is any volts.take out your battery and hold power button for 2mins to discharge any power then try your power suply.if that does not work then try replacing your memory.
