This says no 3rd party apps can be installed

Its the reason why i got rid of my Microsoft surface 2 dont get me wrong a nice little tab but too restricted.There is a work around but downfall is you are still limited.Run Full Windows Applications on Your Windows RT Tablet

No Windows 10 update for Surface RT

Microsoft Surface devices running Windows RT and Windows RT 8.1 will not receive the company's Windows 10 update, but will instead be treated to an update with only some of its functionality.

Windows RT update 3 is coming in September

Microsoft had previously announced that the Surface RT and Surface 2 would not be getting Windows 10. Instead, these devices will be getting an update but the company has not stated what it will include and until today, we did not know when it would arrive.

Thanks to Gabe Aul, he has said on Twitter that Windows 8.1 RT Update 3 will arrive in September. This update, which technically applies to all Windows RT devices, was not detailed in what it will include for those users.

I had the same problem with windows RT only way round it was to return the product and get the same but with full version of windows but that is pricey, so if you have had this device a while you will be stuck with it, SORRY
