is this a keyboard problem or somthing elce,i tryed f5 f1 est still fooked.
getting fedup, only thing is keyboard ,if anyone has an idear ,i might be overlooking it.
talk soon guys.

could be a faulty keyboard,
i just repaired a hp laptop with the same problem, right pain in the a..e

Try this method:

Some compressed air and some rubbing alcohol will be fine.
1. Power down the computer, and remove the batter.
2. Next, wet some paper towels with the rubbing alcohol and wipe the keyboard down. It may be helpful to have some toothpicks and cotton swaps if you don't feel like popping the keys off the keyboard. Don't use too much rubbing alcohol or it won't dry out quickly.
3. Next use the compressed air to blow any remaining gunk out of the keyboard.
4. Allow it to dry for 5-10 minutes.
5. Power back up.
Just remember, keyboards are on average dirtier then a toilet seat.

Had the same problem last year, got another keyboard from Amazon £12 pounds I think it was with the ribbon.

Changed it, now it’s perfect.

i got mine for £8.99 delivered to local argos...

Great price and service, saves having to wait on deliveries...

this works so keyboard needs replaced cool thought that now mouse has gone, how mad this lapy is doing my head in.easy to fix but faults everywhere lol

@mapman

Shut down the laptop, removed battery and cable for a moment, press and hold the start button for 60 seconds... and replace the battery.. start the lap top.. if that does not work a technician is a must.

It's not been mentioned so here goes, Remove the keyboard and re-seat the ribbon cable into the main-board socket (It's worth trying before ordering a replacement)

While the Keyboard is out, you may well see the Touch-Pad ribbon cable, it's worth re-seating that at the same time.
If the ribbon cable connections look tarnishes / oxidized, a gentle rub with a pencil rubber does wonders (there only slightly abrasive but enough to clean the contacts)
