Hi got an old Toshiba satellite pro l300... Will a 9mm hard drive fit or a 7mm one?..I need to replace the hsrdrive as its clicking and is gonna fail soon..ta

This isn't the sort of info that's readily available from spec sheets, and may even vary from sub-model to sub-model.
To be honest, I'd just grab a 7mm SSD, which is most of them, that came with a spacer (only some do). Even if it is a 9/9.5mm HDD, there are few times you'll actually need a spacer for a tray mount, as SSDs are unaffected by vibrations.
