Hi
Suddenly all my programmes on and off the net are reporting not responding when I try to take an action.

Has anyone any ideas how to cure this please.

I have tried re-booting; searching for Malware all to no avail.

Any help appreciated

regards

Hi what os are you running..did you install or do an update prior to this happening?
Have you tried a system restore?

Hi AJT thanks for trying to ride to the rescue your help is appreciated.

I am using good old Windows 7 no updates installed. I will try system restore as a final attempt hoped I can solve without doing so.

with online I mean as I visit websites such as this one and offline is my outlook emails although technically they are online of course.

Its just that programme not responding proceeds just about everything when I take an action, for example the link on the email bringing me here it reported Digitalworldz site not available Chrome not responding and after a short while everything came online.

Delete all cookies and history then reboot.
Have you tried outlook on website?
So basically your saying only outlook email client is the only thing not working as it should?
Can it be updated, uninstalled and reinstalled?
I thought that was always part of office...
If you still get trouble just sign into outlook/hotmail in browser.

Thanks AJT I ran malwarebytes and found no malware, then I tried re-booting modem and touching wood it looks like that cleared things but we shall see. You are correct when you say that Outlook is part of office I was also getting not responding with word etc, however, as I say touch wood

thanks again for your help and also alimac it is appreciated

Hi ntlstu

Thanks for offering this advice I have been able to clear the fault I ran system restore and this cleared the problem so far so good. I only have installed a couple of programmes so it was not too much to re-install them and get back up and running.

Again your offer of help is greatly appreciated.

regards
