anyone have any other good antivirus free programs I use avg

AdwCleaner + Junkware Removal Tool are are great combination. They are tools you can run from a USB so portable...

I personaly use Avast, the worst antivirus in my opinion is Nod32, and the 3 best are bitdefender, kaspersky and norton.
Please keep in mind that this is only my opinion.

For malware, AVG is one of the best, this is what I use because it's available in free version

Also, Malware Bytes is good.

AVG Antivirus Pro 2015 Free Download 1 Year Product Key / License Number

The Huawei giveaway version of Antivirus 2014 is still active and Avg has released AVG Antivirus Pro 2015 final Version. Since that all AVG 2014 license keys can be used to activate a corresponding AVG 2015 edition, you can use the Huawei giveaway license to activate the “Paid” version of AVG Antivirus Pro 2015 and run it for more than a full year (375 days).

Interested users just need to download AVG Antivirus Pro 2015 paid version from this page (download paid version not trial version).

Use the Huawei giveaway license (ABLAD-A2XEL-DUIGR-AIMDV-TAKLW-3WIDO) to active AVG Antivirus Pro 2015 full version free for one year:

AVG Antivirus Pro 2014 Free 1 Year Trial Version: 32 Bit Download;
AVG Antivirus Pro 2014 Free 1 Year Trial Version: 64Bit Download;

Install AVG Antivirus Pro 2014 (creating a System Restore Point before trying out a new software or a tweak is always recommended). The installer is pre-activated and works anywhere over the world. The free 1 year license number is already integrated in the installer

This worked for me a number of times on different machines. The last time I did it was a few weeks back so I know it still works.

The only thing with free protection is that the development doesn't get the same attention as the paid services. Meaning that if there was a variant identified in the wild, your machine might not be the quickest to have adequate protection against.

However that said.... Malwarebytes and Commodo firewall make a good combo, if you really didn't want to splash the cash :eater:

currently running eset smart security 9

with malwarebytes anti-exploitation premium & malwarebytes

also few chages to hosts file

sound for me

I have for as long as I can remember always used for both me and my customers a combo of Avast Antivirus and MalwareBytes together they tend to catch most things just keep them upto date and regular scans

Best antivirus depends on the computer you have, and the same perfomance for faster and more stable operation
I have Avast premier current computer i3 6GB RAM
Maybe for begginer have best method

[h=4]Automatic software updates[/h]Hackers love to exploit old software. It’s the weakest link in most people’s security. Avast Premier automates software updating so you don’t have to think about it.

MalwareBytes Pro version runs in background dont slow up PC Either
Perfect Ani-Virius even free version fine too
Also AD-Blocker usefull to stop pop-ups .
