I have recently been having a problem with my computer where my mouse and keyboard begin to lag when I am playing a game. Now at first I just thought it was the game lagging but as I looked at it further everything inside the game wasn't lagging at all. This problem began happening when I replaced my stock CPU fan with a Cooler Master fan. Ever since then my graphics card has been running 10 degrees Celsius hotter and (52 before to 62 after). I have made sure that the airflow inside the computer is still good, and really the new fan should only help with flow. I was wondering if there is any way to fix this issue and if the new fan could have caused the problem?

System specs:
- Windows 7 32 bit
- ASrock Z77 Pro 4 mother board
- Intel i5 - 3570 chipset, 3.4ghz
- MSI Nvidia gtx 760 graphics card
- 500 W powersupply
- 8 GB memory
- 500 GB hard drive

Hmm did you put the fan on round the right way i know its a daft question and ive seen tests what dont really matter but it could be the course.Im not gonna disagree with anyone @nistleboy but shouldn't this be enough to run the setup @nodyahead1 has? or tho looking at this i aint sure? Power requirements for graphics cards | MSI HQ User-to-User FAQ ive built many computers but admittaly none with powerful graphics card as the ones ive built have mainly been for multimedia and light gameing.
@nodyahead1 how old is this setup? as it could well be you might need some new thermal.

That temp is fine for your gpu .

Mouse lag (input lag)

Do you play with Vsync on ? Turn it off .

What monitor are you using ?

What mouse ? (Adjustable poling rates )

Turn off all mouse acceleration in windows I can link you reg files to do this if you are not sure how )

Oh and are you sure you didn't update your drivers from nvidia to creat this lag ?

Although I can see people's points about your psu. It all depends on it's quality I have ran an i5 2500k and an r9 280x both overclocked with a 460w psu without any issues purly because it was a quality unit rated over 90% efficient .

I would maybe check you didn't damage the CPU pins while changing the fan asswell and did you apply new thermal paste in the correct mana ?

I know a couple of people have mentioned about the thermal paste and I know it may sound like something too small an issue, but it is worth considering this :-

"Air makes a very effective heat insulator, so for the heat to get from the CPU to the heatsink, the heatsink must be installed without any air gaps whatsoever. Even an air gap of a few microns can slow down heat transfer.
Since it is virtually impossible to make a CPU and heatsink that fit together perfectly, a thermal paste or grease is sandwiched between the two. This non-conductive material is designed to fill any air gaps, ensuring the best possible mechanical connection between the two. The better air gaps are eliminated, the better heat flows out of the CPU and into the heatsink."
