Thanks for the info but which file do I uninstall...

Java(TM) 6 update 5 - Sun microsystems inc 03/07/08
or
Java 7 update 25 - Oracle 21/07/13

Also which JRE do I download as there is 5 versions for Windows?
I have a Vista laptop upgraded to Windows 7 32 bit machine.

Uninstall both, starting with the highest version (7).

I would go for the "jre-7u40-windows-i586.exe" version for your setup.

Also, another tip is to run "msconfig"(Check google if you don't recognise it) and examine your Startup files(files that run in the background while windows boots). You can temporally remove them, one at a time, by disabling them from here, to debug your boot.sequence.

If your still getting crashes afterwards, start removing your previously installed programs based on the newest one. One naughty Java child file may be crashing the main VM.

I tried to uninstalled Java but was not allowed, a pop up message appeared

"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed, this can occur if Windows Installer is not correctly installed, contact your support personnel assistant."

The blue screen was quick but the line I saw was something like Driver IQRL.

I don't know if this has anything to do with the blue screen but if the battery (weather power cable in or not) is in laptop it doesn't blue screen so much but if the battery has been taken out and only powered by the cable it blue screens a lot more.

hmmm, my temptation would be to take the long route. That is, set up en external USB drive or big USB pen, go into the BIOS, set the PC to boot from USB, setup a complete windows install onto the USB drive(depending on your BIOS you may have to disable or unplug your HD). If the clean windows install creates a BSOD then the chances are its a hardware problem. If not, carefully install your drivers 1 at a time, check to see if its a driver problem, if nothing occurs after this point then that eliminates a hardware problem.

Thanks for the help and advice, but I don't know how to do this kind of stuff unless it is explained step by step, I didn't even know what a computer ping was!
I've done things on my own like Starview, Bit Torrent, NZB and XBMC (the last 2 took time as some of the wording threw me i.e. Newsgroups, Repositories).
There are simple things I haven't done myself like rooting a mobile, card sharing/IPTV via satellite.
So unless there is like an idiots guide, I'm usually treading on quicksand.

@Redgun71

The following program might help you with your problem mate... I've used it for ages... simply set the program to run at every boot...

PageDefrag v2.32 / System File Defragmenter v2.32

PageDefrag

The program above is just one part of the following...
